What we use
Public browsing currently does not require marketing or advertising cookies. Laos Now uses limited browser storage for features you choose and an essential session cookie for the private administrator area.
Essential session cookie
Authorized administrator login creates a secure, HTTP-only session cookie. It is used for authentication, is not available to client-side scripts and expires after a limited period or when the administrator signs out.
Local browser storage
- Calendar reminders may be stored locally so they remain available on the same browser.
- Saved or favorite places may be stored locally.
- An installed web app may cache pages and assets for faster or offline access.
Analytics and advertising
Laos Now does not currently set advertising cookies or third-party analytics cookies. If that changes, this policy and any required choices will be updated before those tools are enabled.
Managing storage
You can clear cookies, site data and cached files in your browser settings. Doing so may remove saved preferences, offline pages and administrator login state.
